Report: Assassin’s Creed: Comet will have you playing as a Templar

More rumours about the last-gen Assassin’s Creed: Comet today, with French site GameBlog (as translated by Reddit user GalakFyarr) reporting that the title will star a Templar sailor.

The site continues to allege that the game will take place in North America, with New York and sailing key components to the title. Sources are cited as saying the game will be a cross between Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag‘s “Freedom Cry” DLC, and that Haytham Kenway and Adewale may even make appearances in the title.

Assassin’s Creed: Comet has yet to be confirmed by Ubisoft, though they have just announced Assassin’s Creed: Unity for current-gen platforms.

This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve played as a Templar in the franchise; Templar Haytham Kenway was the lead in the first couple hours of Assassin’s Creed III.
