Ubisoft announces Rocksmith 2014 to open their E3 2013 press conference

Jerry Cantrell opened the Ubisoft E3 2013 Press Conference by taking to the stage and rocking out to the newly announced Rocksmith 2014.

Cantrell picked a virtual band to start playing with via the game’s new “Session Mode,” using Kinect voice commands. The game will feature four instruments: guitar, drums, bass and keyboards, as well as several game modes.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition‘s track list will feature over 50 songs, such as “Stone” by Alice In Chains, “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith, “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan, “The Chimera” by The Smashing Pumpkins, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” by Oasis and “ultra soul” by B’z.

The game will be released this October on PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3.
