To celebrate the upcoming release of Just Cause 3, Square Enix and Avalanche Studios want fans of the series to make their launch trailer for them.
That’s right, they’re holding a competition where you get to design their trailer for them. “Just Cause 3 is a game designed with streamers and content creators in mind; a true sandbox built to be explored and played creatively. To that end, it felt right to offer our fans – who’ve posted over 4 million Just Cause 2 trailers to YouTube since launch – the opportunity to create our launch trailer” said Jon Brooke, VP Brand & European Marketing at Square Enix. “It takes a leap of faith to invite your fans to make something as important as your launch trailer, but we’re really excited to see what they come up with.”
Prizes will be given for Best Action, Best Use of Audio and Best Humor with one of those three being proclaimed Best Overall Winner, earning themselves the $5000 USD grand prize and having their video used as the official launch trailer.

Just Cause 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 1 December.
