EA Play 2018 will let gamers play the next Battlefield game

EA Play 2018 will provide playable access to the next Battlefield title, EA today confirmed.

Taking place over 9-11 June at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, “EA PLAY is a place to connect with our games and each other, whether you’re joining us in person, online or through your favorite content creators and community leaders,” the publisher said in a save-the-date post.

“It’s all about giving you early access to our games, listening to your feedback, and most importantly, having fun with some of the biggest games in the world,” EA continued.

Moreover, EA confirmed that the event will provide the “chance to play our next Battlefield experience, new EA SPORTS games, and get an inside look at the stunning new action game, AnthemThe Sims 4 and our mobile games will be on hand, and of course, we have a few surprises as well.”

Tickets for EA Play are free and will go up for grabs closer to the event.

This is the third year that EA has opted out of a direct presence at E3, launching their own, connected event instead. E3 2018 runs between 12-14 June in Los Angeles.
