Ghost Recon: Wildlands: Ubisoft spills the beans on a number of Easter Eggs

The Ghost Recon: Wildlands website has offered up details of a number of hidden Easter Eggs.

First, there are several “Don’t Press Me” signs littered about Wildlands‘ map, each accompanied with a large blue button. Pressing the button — c’mon, you know you want to — will set off explosions of various levels. You can find those buttons at the Pucara dam, the salt flats of Koani and on the hills of La Cruz.

The Koani salt flats are also home to another, Matrix-inspired Easter Egg. Head out to the barren landscape and keep your eyes open for a lone leather chair. Then take the red pill.

Additionally, there are also eight hidden Earth Mother statues hidden in the “highest reaches” of the mountains. Gathering those statues will cause the locals to pay their respects to the goddess Pachamama at all locations where the statues originally resided.

Finally, the owls aren’t what they seem. Look for a special owl in the Libertad province and try to take it down.

Wildlands‘ second DLC pack, “Fallen Ghosts”, is available now for “Season Pass” holders. It heads to the general public on 6 June.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
