Forza Horizon 4 Fortune Island treasure guide: Get all that loot

Forza Horizon 4 Fortune Island is out now, and instead of barn finds the DLC offers millions of credits in the form of riddles that can be solved to find treasure chests. This guide will help you find them all!

Getting the chests will earn you the Driving Detective and Get Rich and Drive Tryin‘ Achievements alongside tons of cash and cars. It’s well worth seeing through.

Riddle and Treasure 1: Coffers of the Tyrant King

• Unlocks at: Entry into Fortune Island
• Riddle: The massive truck stomps around like a T-ReX, roar through the Speed Zone at the Festival’s Apex.
• How to solve: Use the Ram truck you start with when the DLC loads and drive through the Speed Zone located inside the Horizon Festival’s lone Fortune Island location.
• Treasure location: Once you’ve gone through the Speed Zone, the treasure’s located along the docks near the entrance to a shed.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits.

Riddle and Treasure 2: Pillars of Gold

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 2
• Riddle: The Needle Climb has been known to intimidate, when set adrift in an Italian four-five-eight.
• How to solve: This requires the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale and the Needle Climb Drift Zone, located north of the Horizon Festival.
• Treasure location: Once you’ve gone through the Drift Zone, the treasure’s located near the top of Giant’s Dolmen.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits, Lamborghini Urus 2019.

Riddle and Treasure 3: The Swiftest Chariot

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 3
• Riddle: A sixty-five wild horse blazed across the USA, follow its trail at Viking Bay.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 1965 Mustang GT Coupe for this one. Complete the Viking Bay Trailblazer PR stunt.
• Treasure location: This one’s on the top of the mountain near Laufey’s Throne. It’s in some snow.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits.

Riddle and Treasure 4: From Ruins to Riches

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 4
• Riddle: These buildings stood tall, but now have fallen, jump over them in a three-wheeled Morgan.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 2014 Morgan 3 Wheeler for this. Jump over the Danger Sign near Fenholm Ruin’s.
• Treasure location: After the jump, stop and go behind you. It’s just down the road beside a dilapidated building.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits.

Riddle and Treasure 5: The Sword in the Stone

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 5
• Riddle: Legend says the Lady on the Lake, will shower with treasure a 3-star R eight.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus for this — use the car to zoom through the Lady of the Lake Speed Trap.
• Treasure location: The treasure is north of Skildar Head along the cliffside.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits, Koenigsegg CCBS.

Riddle and Treasure 6: Light of the Lantern

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 6
• Riddle: Will-o’-the-Wisp Speed Zone is said to be silly, especially when driven in a Jeep named Willy.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 1945 Willys MB Jeep for this. Use the car to zoom through the Will-o’-the-Wisp Speed Zone.
• Treasure location: The treasure’s to the eastern point , northeast of The Giant’s Dolmen. It’s along the cliffside.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits.

Riddle and Treasure 7: Dew of the Ash Tree

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 7
• Riddle: The eighties Lambo was built for dirt, blaze through the forest without getting hurt.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 1986 LM 002 Lamborghini. The the car through the Forest Run Trailblazer event.
• Treasure location: The treasure’s in-between the Oldlarch Forest and the Westwick Castle in a forest.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits.

Riddle and Treasure 8: The Skildar Horde

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 8
• Riddle: This Swedish knight is ready for action, the Lakeside Speed Zone will test its traction.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 2016 Volvo Iron Knight for this. Race the car through the Lakeside Speed Zone.
• Treasure location: The treasure’s in a cave to the northwest of Storm Beach. It’s nestled in the ruins of a pirate ship.
  Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits, Saleen S5S.

Riddle and Treasure 9: Of Fame and Fortune

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 9
• Riddle: Korea surprised with this new performance car, sting the Mountain Speed Trap for all three stars.
• How to solve: You’ll need the 2018 Kia Stinger. Use the car on the Mountainside Speed Trap.
• Treasure location: The treasure’s of on the largest southernmost island, south of Storm Beach. It’s near the ruins of a house.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits.

Riddle and Treasure 10: Risk and Reward

• Unlocks at: Fortune Island Conqueror Level 10
• Riddle: This house sihnes like a star, jump to it in a Classic Muscle car.
• How to solve: You’ll need any Classic Muscle car for this. Use your choice to jump off the Lighthouse Danger Sign.
• Treasure location: The final treasure is on an island south of Westwick Castle. Jump over and grab it. The image below shows where the treasure is — the jump point’s been circled (it’s west of the treasure). Finally, a video shows how the jump should go — start near the fence and aim at the tree.
• Fortune: 1,000,000 Credits, 2012 Lamborghini Aventador.
