The Darkness II reigns at Sydney’s Insert Coins

With over 900 (very satisfied) attendees, it’s safe to say that Sydney’s third Insert Coins last Thursday night was a tremendous hit.

With 10 consoles allowing eager gamers a chance to play the demo of The Darkness II, local artists Sprinkles and Creon on the main stage painting Darkness II-themed murals, a hot dog cart, a 50s milk bar, 80s tunes pumping all night and dozens of retro arcade machines scattered through the Oxford Art Factory, there literally was something for everyone.

Take a look at screenshots from the night, above, or a small highlight package we’ve prepared, below:

Patch Kolan, co-founder of the night, has already confirmed future Insert Coins events, with a fourth already being planned. Interested gamers can join Insert Coins’ Facebook page for updates.

If you’re in Sydney, I can unequivocally say that attendance at the next Insert Coins is a must.
