If you’re having issues with Grim Fandango Remastered Sony has you covered

Grim Fandango Remastered is out today for PS Vita and PS4, but reports have emerged online of users suffering issues with their pre-orders and pre-loads of the game.

A support thread has been posted on the PlayStation forums offering assistance to those affected players. The first and major step is to redownload the game followed by a few simple steps as follows:

If you pre-downloaded the game:

  • On your console, delete all Grim Fandango data from your system.
  • From a web browser, open the PlayStation Store (https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com) and sign in.
  • Mouse over your Online ID in the top right of the page and choose the [Download List] option. Once you’ve signed in, you can also get to your download list by click this link: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/download/list. Note: You must do this step via the [Download List] and not from the game page, or it will not work.
  • Find Grim Fandango (PS4) in Download List and click the [Download to Your PS4] button. If your Primary PS4 is on or in Rest Mode, the game will automatically download.
