EB Games Swanston Street has taken to Facebook to advise customers it doesn’t have its shipment of Mew Legendary Pokémon codes as yet.
“For all of you awaiting the Mew Pokemon event, we are yet to receive the codes,” the store advised. “We are expecting them anytime this week and we will post here when they become available!”
Tips from readers suggest that the codes aren’t being delivered to stores by EB Games itself, nor Nintendo, and as such, the third party is slowing down the process. We contacted the Swanston Street store at the time of writing to confirm that codes hadn’t arrived as yet. We’re also checking in with EB Games head office for a statement.

Update: EB Games has responded to our query, saying, “EB Games stores will have EB Exclusive Mythical Mew download code cards by Thursday. These are strictly while stocks last. We suggest giving your local store a quick buzz before popping in to avoid disappointment.”
