Xbox One Preview update for August is all fixes, no features

After the big backwards compatibility announcement the Xbox One Preview Program has been quiet on the update front, something that isn’t changing for August as the latest preview update features only ‘minor tweaks under the hood’ according to the release notes.

A lack of new feature roll outs is usually a good sign that something bigger is in the works, with Gamescom coming up Microsoft could have a big announcement, or it could just be build up before the big UI revamp that is expected at the end of the year. Maybe Microsoft are just busy rolling Windows 10 out to the world. Anyway, preview program members will get this uninspiring update rolled out over the next few days.
