Watch: Tekken 7’s opening cinematic looks a bit hot

Tekken 7 is hitting arcades in Japan in limited quantities this month and more widely next with console and western release dates still unannounced. Despite Director Katsuhiro Harada tweeting in January 2014 that he’d like to develop a new Tekken for PS4, nothing aside from the Arcade release of Tekken 7 has been announced.

To keep you going until such time that there is an announcement, tekkenchannel on Youtube has posted the opening cinematic for Tekken 7. In it, series stalwarts Heihachi Mishima and Kazuya Mishima are doing battle once again, except this time they’ve decided to spice things up by battling on top of an erupting volcano. Oh, and Kazuya does a pretty nifty trick laser beam trick with his third eye. Check it out below.

Tekken 7 was announced last year and is being developed with Unreal Engine 4. It hits Japanese Arcades this month with no word yet on console or western releases.
