Watch: Here’s how you can customise Doom’s single-player

Bethesda today outlined how you can customise Doom‘s single-player experience in a new video.

In it, Doom‘s Executive Producer Marty Stratton and Creative Director Hugo Martin explain how different play styles can be met through customisation.

“We’ve taken the essence of Doom — the DNA of Doom — and said, ‘how does this translate for a modern shooter audience?’,” Stratton said.

Stratton sites the speed and fluidity of movement, paired with the response of weaponry.

Martin explained that weapons like the shotgun can be modified to work at both close- and long-range instances. He added that the same is true for your character; you can choose to increase speed to zip around the map faster.

You’ll be able to customise your experience when Doom hits Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 from tomorrow, 13 May.
