Watch Dogs 2: Anatomically correct characters landing streamers in hot water

A players who has taken screenshots of Watch Dogs 2‘s anatomically correct characters has been temporarily banned by Sony from using the PlayStation Network.

The player has reported a temporary ban after uploading screenshots of Watch Dogs 2‘s characters — and their rendered genitals — on to the PSN itself. Hippie characters with full frontal nudity, both vaginas and penises, are present in the in-game San Francisco, allowing such captures to take place.

Ubisoft has responded, saying it will patch the game — and said nudity — next week.

“While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologise and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week,” the publisher said via statement.

“We also are working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties’ respective codes of conduct.”

We’ll let you know when the patch is in place.
