Wargaming embraces Dunkirk in several of its titles

Dunkirk content will feature in several Wargaming titles including World of Tanks, World of Warships and World of Warplanes, the company recently confirmed.

Starting 14 July, all three titles will receive “Remember Dunkirk” content across PC and console.

“The historic ‘Miracle of Dunkirk’, like many of the events of World War II, continues to impact and inform our battle-focused games,” said Wargaming’s Erik Whiteford. “We are inspired by this momentous military operation and are excited to be in a partnership with Warner Brothers for Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated action thriller Dunkirk.”

Themed missions will feature in both World of Tanks and Warplanes. Players will earn themed vehicles and earn XP that can be redeemed for in-game gear, including camoflaged pieces.

World of Warships enters the fray on 19 July, adding themed missions and the chance to earn vehicles, containers and flags.

World of Tanks is available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, while Warplanes and Warships are exclusive to PC. Dunkirk heads to cinemas on 21 July.
