No Uplay integration for South Park: The Stick of Truth on PC

South Park: The Stick of Truth developer Obsidian has revealed on Twitter that the Steam version of the game will not require the Uplay client to run.

The announcement was in response to a fan’s question and Obsidian followed up by revealing that Uplay has not been integrated into the title in anyway. The Uplay platform was launched in 2012 for PC and has since been made available for PS4 and Xbox One.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 6 March.
