Ubisoft: Watch Dogs has “a lot of room for improvement” in Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs was in development for over five years and now, Creative Director Jonathan Morin has stated that it isn’t “perfect in any way and there’s a lot of room for improvement.”

Speaking with GamesTM, Morin revealed that “The challenge when we made the first game was to create something that would make people dream about something else,” adding, ‘With a sequel, there is more pressure to push a brand forward and we now have to appeal to fans in a new way.”

Watch Dogs 2 — while not officially announced — will ” have to carry on taking risks” says Morin claiming his job would be boring otherwise. Some of the ideas Morin and his team are toying with are letting players create their own stories by using the Profiler and not have his team provide too many story details which prevent players from inventing their own narrative.
