After Robin Williams passed away, World of Warcraft fans expressed a desire to see Blizzard incorporate some form of tribute to the actor in the game. The developer — through the official WOW Twitter account — sent a message to Robin Williams account which many interpreted to mean that there would indeed be some form of tribute.
.@robinwilliams Thank you. You gave us so much joy in our lives, and we hope you enjoyed your time in our world. We’ll see you in-game.

It seems that Blizzard have indeed honored Williams in the upcoming “Warlords of Draenor” expansion. WowHead — a WOW website — uncovered three character models in the code for the expansion which appear to relate directly to three of Williams’ most iconic roles.
In the gallery above you can see a genie, a female character with grey hair and a male wearing suspenders. While the genie has appeared in a previous expansion, in the “Warlords of Draenor” code it’s labeled “Robin”. The female character could very well be an homage to Mrs. Doubtfire while Williams’ character Mork was known to wear suspenders.
“Warlords of Draenor” will be available in November.
