Three new modes are included in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake is coming to PlayStation 4 in October and includes all three of the original PlayStation 3 games.

Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake’s Deception will be remastered with improved textures, lighting, rednering and sound. The collection will also include some new trophies, but the biggest change is the inclusion of three new game modes.

Explorer Mode is basically the Uncharted version of Nintendo’s Super-Guide and reduces the difficulty lower than the original easy mode. Explorer Mode is for newcomers to the franchise or for those players just in it for the story. Speed Run Mode adds a timer so players can race against the clock to complete sections of each game as quickly as possible.

Brutal Difficulty Mode is unlocked after completing Crushing difficulty and is, as the name suggests, brutally difficult. In addition to the new gameplay modes, a Photo Mode will also be included so players can capture all their favourite epic moments.

A brand new trailer for the collection was also released today, focusing on Drake’s adventures and the stories of the three included games.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is coming to PS4 on 7 October and will hopefully fill the gap while we wait for Uncharted 4.
