Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is coming 1 September and will continue the story that commenced in Ground Zeroes.
Actions that players took in Ground Zeroes — including decisions made and characters rescued — will have an effect on their playthrough of The Phantom Pain. Konami has released a handy guide to show how saves can be transferred between the two games.
As the image demonstrates, saves can be transferred between the same console family and from last to current-gen only. PC players can only transfer to a PC version.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 1 September 2015.
