The Witness finally has a release date, sort of. The creator of The Witness, Jonathon Blow, stated that it would be released some time in January 2016. Originally slated as a PS4 launch title it was delayed indefinitely to ensure the game lived up to the Braid developers expectations.
Blow stated on Twitter that the game would likely take completionists about 70 hours to finish, an impressive effort for an indie developer.
