At Nintendo’s Digital Event today it was announced that Tri Force Heroes will be coming to 3DS.
The title uses the same visual style as Link Between Worlds and will see Link attempting to survive dungeons with the help of two friends, in co-operative play. Tri Force Heroes uses a totem mechanic whereby the three Links can stack on top of one another to progress through certain sections of the dungeon.
The developers said that a 4-player totem was too tall, so the title isd for 3-players only. The world in which the three Links find themselves in has a thriving fashion market and as such there are outfits to be found which change Link’s abilities. In classic Zelda style there are puzzles, boss fights and tones of enemies.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will be exclusive to 3DS.
