Super Smash Bros. entire roster revealed

It should go without saying, but we’re deep into spoiler territory here folks. As Super Smash Bros. is out for 3DS in Japan, we’ve already seen most of the secret characters revealed. Now, we have definitive confirmation of the final and complete roster.

Let me just say again, SPOILERS.

From an image posted on Reddit (below – click to enlarge) we can see that the game contains 49 characters with 34 returning from past games and 15 newcomers. Those returning to the fray are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Dr. Mario, Wario, Yoshi, Mr. Game & Watch, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Link, Zelda, Sheik, Toon Link, Ganondorf, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Pikachu, Charizard, Lucario, Jigglypuff, Fox, Falco, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Pit, Marth, Ike, Captain Falcon, Ness, Olimar, ROB and Sonic.

Newcomers included on the roster are Rosalina, Bowser Jr, Shulk, Greninja, Palutena, Dark Pit, Robin, Lucina, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac, Duck Hunt Dog, Mega Man, Pac-Man and Mii.

Characters who’ve been in previous Smash games but are missing from this version include Snake, Lucas, Mewtwo, Pichu, Roy, Wolf, Ice Climbers, Pokémon Trainer and Young Link.

Super Smash Bros. will be available for 3DS 4 October and for Wii U in November, maybe.
