Sony’s VR headset Project Morpheus arrives June 2016

Sony’s entry into the virtual reality space, Project Morpheus, is set to arrive in June 2016 according to Japanese newspaper Asahi (translated by Kotaku). No pricing information, or anything other than this date actually, was announced.

While this date looks only to apply to Japan at this point, worldwide release delays seem to be a thing of the past and it is hard to imagine that the VR hungry Western markets will be forced to wait to get their hands on Project Morpheus. It is a safe bet that we will both see and find out more about the VR headset at E3.
