The Sims 4 update adds ghosts and Star Wars costumes; pools returning in November

EA and Maxis have announced that the first of three free updates coming to The Sims 4 is now live. A new update will be released each month for the next three months and will add content and features. Each of the three updates will be free.

This month’s update introduces ghosts to the world of The Sims 4. Players’ dead Sims can now return as ghosts and will maintain all attributes they had while alive. The ghost Sim will also have new behaviours based on the manner of their death. Ghosts can join players’ household as playable characters and may even be able to be brought back to life.

The update also introduces Star Wars costumes for Sims. Players will be able to dress their Sims in Luke’s X-Wing suit, Leia’s white robes, Darth Vader’s full get up and even as Yoda.

The November update will reintroduce pools into The Sims and December’s will add new career paths and rewards.

The Sims 4 is available now for PC.
