Nintendo allegedly stopping production of the Wii U this year

Japanese newspaper Nikkei today reports that Nintendo will cease production of the Wii U by the end of this year.

The report furthers that the production of some console components has already stopped.

Nintendo has refused to comment.

Do you think this means we’ll see the Nintendo NX by the end of 2016?
