Two trademarks registered by Nintendo in Japan suggest a possible revival of Seaman, one of the Dreamcast’s more bizarre characters.
Nintendo registered Mysterious Partner: Legend of the Fish With A Human Face and Mysterious Pet: Legend of the Fish With A Human Face. As can be seen in the featured image above, Seaman is a fish with the face of a man.
Joystiq reported in February last year of a possible revival of Seaman on the 3DS. According to the report the revival of Seaman was the first step in Nintendo creating new games based on competitors’ defunct franchises.
