Resident Evil 7 will have 4K scares with PlayStation Pro support

Capcom has confirmed Resident Evil 7 will be enhanced with PlayStation Pro for players with Ultra HD televisions. It will feature both HDR and 4K (presumably upscaled) support. As previously announced, it can also be played with PlayStation VR.

In its announcement of the updated console, Sony suggest PlayStation Pro could offer enhancements on 1080p screens, if developers choose. However, Capcom’s announcement at TGS suggests the PS Pro features are restricted to players with high-end TVs.

Resident Evil 7 will be released on January 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
