Remedy Games is working on two projects, and one will be on PS4

Remedy Games is currently working on two projects and one of those will include a PS4 release, the developer today reaffirmed.

The developer detailed the information on its blog, also providing financial results for the 2016 fiscal year.

Remedy reported a revenue of  €16.4 million, a year-on-year revenue growth of 19.4% and an operating profit of €3.9 million last fiscal year. Its success was attributed to the release of Quantum Break on PC and Xbox One.

The Finland-based developer once again confirmed it is working with Korean publisher Smilegate on a sequel to CrossFire. More interestingly, it confirmed its second project, codenamed P7.

“The company’s strategy is to release the game on a wider range of platforms,” the developer’s statement reads, “which is why Remedy is developing its Northlight technology also for PlayStation 4 consoles.”

Northlight is the engine that powered the Microsoft-exclusive Quantum Break.

Remedy first hinted at P7 back in June 2016. The title is a cooperative multiplayer game set in an open world, according to Polygon, who describe it as “the sum of the parts and discoveries made while experimenting in game creation with Alan Wake and Quantum Break.

We’ll have more on the multiplatform P7 as it’s made available.
