Rainbow Six: Siege: New operation launches next month alongside freeplay weekend

Ubisoft today confirmed that Rainbow Six: Siege‘s next operation will debut in February alongside a special freeplay weekend.

“Operation: Velvet Shell” will be available from 7 February, offering a Spanish-themed operation, map and two new Operators. The map is free to all players, while the Operators will be free to those with the Year Two “Season Pass”. Everyone else can unlock the Operators via Renown or R6 credit.

Morevoer, Ubisoft confirmed that Siege will be free-to-play between 2-5 February on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. More information on the free weekend can be found here.
