PS Vita software update 3.10 increases number of apps displayed, adds voice messaging

Announced via the PlayStation Blog, PS Vita system software update 3.10 has been released overnight and brings with it some much needed improvements to the handheld.

The update will include the Home screen’s increased number of apps displayed (500 up from 100), voice messaging between both PS Vita and PS4, improved parental controls, a new calendar app which allows for the creation of gameplay dates with friends and includes Google Calendar synchonrisation and content on the memory card will be manageable via the Content Manager app.

The update is available now and you should be prompted the next time you take you PS Vita online.
