Project CARS will be prettiest on PC with support for up to 12K resolution

Slightly Mad Studios has released an FAQ for their oft delayed racing sim Project CARS, outlining some of the technical specifications of the game. Couch gamers will be disappointed with a lack of split screen mode but a whopping 45 AI cars is confirmed for single player races, if the track you are racing on can handle it.

The juicy parts for console fanboys are the resolution specs, with the PS4 winning out in the technical battle with a full 1080p, 60fps confirmed while the Xbox One runs at 900p, 60fps. PC’s top both of them and then some with 12K supported if your PC hardware can handle it.

Project CARS looks stunning in action and the resolution difference shouldn’t make as much difference to your choice of platform as say, which system supports your steering wheel. Project CARS arrives in May for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with a Wii U release planned later in 2015.
