PlayStation Now open beta starts July for PS4

Sony announced that residents of the United States and Canada will be able to enter the open beta for PlayStation Now from 31 July on PlayStation 4.

The beta will come to PS3 and Vita sometime after with selected Sony TVs able to enjoy the beta after that, no specific time frames were given for platforms other than PS4. For those who don’t own a PlayStation platform, but want to use a Sony TV for PlayStation Now all that’s required is a DualShock 3 controller.

The beta will contain 100 games including Dead Space 3, God of War: Ascension, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus and Ultra Street Fighter IV.

PlayStation Now will be playable at E3 and we’ll be on hand to report our findings.
