PlayStation 4 update 3.00 will increase online save storage for PS Plus members to 10GB

We’ve previously reported on the PlayStation 4 update 3.00 beta that’s currently ongoing and today PlayStation has officially revealed details of what to expect.

As we detailed previously, players will be able to share 10-second video clips to Twitter and new Events and Communities menus will be added. In Communities, players will be able to set up a new community that will feature a Wall which functions like an announcement board. There will also be a Now Playing area for members and a members page.

Events will let players discover and participate in PlayStation events with reminders being sent to both the PS4 and the PlayStation App.

YouTube Live lets players broadcast live video to YouTube through the SHARE Button while friends will now be able to request to watch your gameplay. Once a request has been received a player can choose to connect or start a Share Play session.

However, the best new feature of this update is the increase from 1GB to 10Gb of online storage for PlayStation Plus members.

PlayStation 4 update 3.00 is currently in beta.
