Aussie developer Hipster Whale’s take on Pac-Man, Pac-Man 256 has already been downloaded more than 5 million times, publisher Bandai Namco announced today.
Pac-Man 256 is the top downloaded title across 98 countries in all app categories and the top downloaded in all categories across 104 countries. Due to the title’s overwhelming success Hipster Whale are bringing the yellow icon to their previous title Crossy Road.
Players will be able to play as Pac-Man or Pac-Chicken (the Crossy Road chicken wearing a Pac-Man tshirt) for free. Those who dedicate enough time will also be able to unlock the Pac-Man ghosts.
Pac-Man 256 is available for Android and iOS.
