Overwatch: Blizzard is “listening” to those complaining about Anniversary event Loot Boxes

Blizzard is “listening” to fans who say that Overwatch‘s Anniversary event is proving to be too costly.

Between new Legendary skins, dance emotes and sprays, unlucky players who don’t drops from Loot Boxes would need to have 33,000 in-game credits to obtain all items.

Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan has acknowledged the issue and has told players the developer is receptive to feedback.

“I just wanted to acknowledge that we’ve been following the threads about the loot box rewards as they pertain to the anniversary events, other events and loot boxes in general,” Kaplan wrote on the game’s forum.

“The feedback and suggestions have been helpful to us. We had a really great discussion yesterday about the feedback we’ve been hearing this week. While I don’t have any immediate action items to report, I thought it was important for you to know that we are listening.”

The Overwatch Anniversary event, used to also launch the GOTY version of the title, runs until 12 June.
