PAX Aus will be the first time any of these games have been playable in Australia. Playable games aren’t the only reason to visit Nintendo’s booth at PAX though. The Pokémon National Championships will be held on the Saturday and Sunday.

Be sure to remember your 3DS too as PAX Aus will be ripe with StreetPass and impromptu multiplayer games. Nintendo have even been kind enough to provide charging stations for your 3DS if the battery is running low.

On Saturday at 4:30pm in the Dropbear Theatre, Nintendo will be hosting a special Animal Crossing: New Leaf event. Fans will be able to hear from the developers of the game who’ll be answering questions from the Australian community.

Make sure you head over to the Nintendo booth at some point during the weekend. If you see Shane battling it out on Saturday make sure you cheer him on.
