Nintendo released a statement today apologising for the frustration amiibo availability has caused. Nintendo also promised to reissue some out of stock figures, so if you want that hot eBay money for the Wii Fit Trainer better get in soon.
Nintendo didn’t give any dates for reissues or more concrete plans, but it is a nice step from the company after some conflicting messages caused confusion early in the amiibo craze. Hopefully they can meet the demands for figures, and perhaps maybe even give us something useful to do with them besides showing them off on our shelves.
