Nintendo announced brand new games and features coming to 3DS StreetPass today.
Two new games will be available this month; StreetPass Fishing and StreetPass Zombies. StreetPass Fishing will include over 150 fish to catch in addition to some legendary monsters. Players will collect fish food from Mii characters they meet in StreetPass and will need to figure out which fish like which food in order to catch them all.
StreetPass Zombies pits players against a zombie horde that must be wiped out by using a variety of creative weapons collected from Miis met in StreetPass. The weapons will be based on the Mii’s hobbies and there will be a total of 26 types.
StreetPass Premium will launch alongside the two new games and will inlcude enhanced features like StreetPass birthdays and the VIP room. Players can add Miis to the VIP room like those sent from Nintendo. They can also add their best friends or any Mii deemed worthy enough to be a VIP. Satoru Shibata will be a special Mii sent out to the StreetPass Plaza in the future.
The new games and StreetPass Premium can be purchased from the shop within StreetPass Plaza separately or in a bundle. The new games and Streetpass Premium will be available from 16 April. Australian pricing is TBC.
