New Overwatch Halloween event kicks off next week

A special Overwatch Halloween event will kick off next week, developer Blizzard has announced.

Halloween Terror begins on 10 October and will run until 2 November. A brief teaser for the special event was sent out over Twitter earlier this morning.

Like Overwatch‘s recent Summer Games event, this refresh of Halloween Terror should build upon what players experienced back in October 2016. New and old skins should be on offer in addition to Junkenstein’s Revenge, in which Dr. Junkenstein (aka Junkrat) was tasked to defend a spooky castle with the help of Reaper, Mercy and Roadhog.

The refreshed event will also provide your second chance to go and earn the Junkenstein-related Achievements or Trophies that are attached to Overwatch. Completionists must be letting off a huge sigh of relief right now, eh?

We’ll let you know when specifics of the event have been detailed.

Overwatch is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
