New Mortal Kombat X patch fixes throws, adds free Sub Zero skin

Mortal Kombat X was patched yesterday, with the 1.02 patch fixing an issue where you could throw a grounded opponent and a variety of special moves for Shinnok, Sub Zero and Takeda. You can check out the brief patch notes here.

A variety of skins are also included in the patch, most as paid DLC but a classic Sub Zero skin is also offered for free to all players. Further, PC users will notice their Krypt Koin balance has increased, with NetherRealm offering 10,000 Koins to PC players as an apology for the technical issues the game has had at launch.

Mortal Kombat X launched last week for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions coming later this year. You can read our review here.
