Mortal Kombat X’s Kombat Pass adds Jason Voorhees to the roster; last-gen version delayed

Warner Bros and NetherRealm announced today that Jason Voorhees would be joining the Mortal Kombat X roster as part of the game’s “Kombat Pack.”

The “Kombat Pack” functions as the game’s season pass and adds Jason alongside a second special guest character and two “Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants” according to a press release from Warner Bros. The “Kombat Pack” costs £24.99 in the U.K., $29.99 in North America and $44.95 in Australia.

At launch, the “Kombat Pack” will give access to the Samurai Pack which includes skins for Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana. Each playable character included in the “Kombat Pack” will release alongside a skin pack.

Polygon is reporting that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game — being developed by High Voltage Software — have been delayed until Winter 2015 worldwide. The PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions are still on track for release on 14 April.
