Microsoft working to bridge the gap between iOS apps and Windows 10

With Windows 10 launching across PC, tablets and phones, it faces an uphill battle to ensure there are enough apps to satisfy users used to the Android and iOS experience.

In April Microsoft announced a bridging tool to help developers bring their apps and code over to Windows 10 and today has started looking into bridging iOS and Windows 10. Microsoft has opened up the source of the Bridge tool to help developers even further.

This means that app developers will be able to quickly and easily port their app from either Android or iOS to Windows 10 without too much hassle. All that’s left is the demand from Windows 10 users.
