Microsoft wins an Emmy for Xbox One’s VOD services

Microsoft announced yesterday that it had been the recipient of an Emmy award for the Xbox One’s video-on-demand services.

At 66th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards held in Las Vegas, Microsoft was awarded the Emmy for Television Enhancement Devices. Microsoft joins the likes of Apple, Sony, TiVo and Roku in winning the award.

Xbox users can browse Xbox Video as well as use a wide range of VOD services (especially in North America) with the likes of Netflix, NBA, WWE, Hulu and more available on the console.
