Microsoft have announced their financial results for the last quarter of 2014, indicating they shipped 6.6 million consoles during that period. No breakdown as to the split of Xbox One versus Xbox 360 was given for that number.
Other points of interest include first party games revenue increasing 79% on the back of Minecraft, Forza Horizon 2 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Xbox Live revenue is up 42% as customers grow acustomed to purchasing full software online.
The usual caveats apply when dealing with financial numbers. Microsoft continue to talk in shipped figures rather than sell through numbers, and it can’t mean anything good that they are unwilling to announce plain Xbox One shipped or sales figures. You can read the full numbers at Dualshockers.
