[UPDATE] Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ exclusive DLC available free for all in May

When Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes launched in March those who purchased it on either PS3 or PS4 were given access to the special “Deja Vu” mission while those who purchased on Xbox 360 or Xbox One  received the “Jamais Vu” mission.

“Deja Vu” tasks players with recreating classic moments from Metal Gear Solid within the Ground Zeroes map while “Jamais Vu” stars Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance’s version of Raiden. Now, Hideo Kojima, Director of Ground Zeroes has announced on his podcast that the exclusive content will be released as free DLC for across all platforms in May.

The announcement was accompanied by a 1 May release date for the DLC, although it’s unclear whether that applied worldwide or in Japan only.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is now available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and is the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain which will launch in 2015.

Update: Konami has confirmed that the 1 May date is applicable for all regions.
