Reddit user 3v4i posted an image reportedly from an upcoming Halo 5: Guardians commercial in the Halo sub-Reddit last week.
The image — seen below — was apparently uploaded to social media, before being pulled. 3v41 also claims that the original poster of the image is related to production of the game. Nothing has been confirmed, so for now take it all with a grain of salt.
Speculation surrounding the image suggests that the figure in the foreground is Halo: Nightfall’s Locke or perhaps the other character from Halo 5’s cover art. How and why Master Chief is seemingly incapacitated and what the shrine behind him symbolises are all mysteries for now.
