Latest patch for Assassin’s Creed: Unity unlocks all companion app content

Ubisoft released a patch for Assassin’s Creed: Unity today that unlocks all blue and gold chests that previously required the Companion App to access. The patch applies to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game, with a PC update coming later this week.

You can read the full patch notes at the Ubisoft forums, though removing the Companion App barrier to unlock extra content is the big drawcard here. Various matchmaking and stability issues were fixed as well as bugs with objectives not appearing and unlocked content being relocked.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC now. You can read our review here.
