Metal Gear guru Hideo Kojima took to Konami’s Gamescom livestream event to confirm that P.T. is indeed a new Silent Hill game, titled Silent Hills.
Kojima outlined his plans for the game including his desire to make the title so scary that gamers will “sh*t their pants” as they play.
In fact, Kojima thinks the game will be so scary, we’ll have to play it in spurts.
“That’s why there’s a limit on how scary you can make a game, but in this case we’re ignoring that. If you don’t want to keep playing through the game, so be it we don’t care,” he said. “That’s the game we’re aiming for. We’re aiming for a game that will make you sh*t your pants.”
It was also confirmed that P.T. stands for “Playable Trailer”. The demo is currently accessible on the PSN.
Film director Guillermo Del Toro and The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus are also attached to Silent Hills.
