Guitar Hero Live celebrating new songs with GHTV free weekend

Guitar Hero Live will be getting its first new additions to the GHTV catalogue this week and to celebrate all players will get free on-demand access to the entire GHTV collection for the weekend. The new content includes songs from the Black Veil Brides, Paramore, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy and more.

Activision also announced that over 70 songs will be added before the end of the year and offered a sneak peak at the bands featured. Among those bands are Weezer, Alice in Chains, System of a Down and Judas Priest, with both music videos and live concert clips to be used. It was also snuck in that new music will arrive in GHTV first as Premium Shows, and once completed there they will then start to appear in the GHTV rotation and on-demand library.

Guitar Hero Live is available now for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360. You can read our review here.
