Sony realise that the wait until 7 May for the release of The Last of Us seems like an incredibly long way away and as such have teamed up with Santa Monica Studios to ease the pain a little.
It was revealed yesterday that anybody who purchases God of War: Ascension on release – 14 March in Australia – will be granted exclusive and early access to a chapter from The Last of Us almost two months before the game is released. All you’ll need to do is load the God of War: Ascension disc into your PS3 and find The Last of Us listing on the main menu. From there you’ll be given details on how to access the demo once it becomes available.
As if there weren’t enough reasons to pick up God of War: Ascension on 14 March but with the added bonus of early access to The Last of Us it’s a no brainer.
God of War: Ascension will be available exclusively for PS3 on 14 March 2013.
The Last of Us will be available exclusively for PS3 on 7 May 2013.
